Our Curated Soft & Neutral Print Collection

Soft & Neutral Abstract Wall Art Prints

This collection is led by the landscape. Misty lakes, hazy hills, washed coastlines and wide open fields such as Karoo at Dawn and Valley in The Overberg sit beside looser abstracts in beige, sand and stone: flowing lines, twisting fibres and soft gestural marks. The palette runs warmer than our calm and quiet abstracts, with sage, blush and the odd thread of gold among the neutrals.

The tone is restful without being cold. Neutral prints let a room breathe, sit easily beside timber, linen and stone, and never compete with the furniture or the view. That steadiness is why they also suit offices and guest houses; our guide to abstract art for commercial spaces covers when soft and neutral is the better choice.

How to hang them

Soft prints need scale to hold a wall. Go one size larger than feels natural: an A1 or A0 landscape above a bed or sofa, or a pair such as Rural Haze 1 and 2 or Light Dawn 1 and 2 side by side. If a room needs more contrast, add one darker piece from our moody and neutral abstracts rather than a brighter colour.

Each art print in this collection is available as a fine art Giclée print on premium 230gsm ultra-matte paper using archival inks, or as a mounted canvas: imported 260gsm poly-cotton stretched over a 35mm Obeche timber frame. Sizes run from A4 through to A0, unframed or framed in black, white, light oak or dark kiaat.
