Our Curated Henri Rousseau Print Collection

Henri Rousseau prints: jungles of the imagination

Henri Rousseau was a self-taught painter who worked for years as a toll collector in Paris and never travelled to the tropics. He built his jungles from visits to the city's botanical gardens and his own imagination, and they are all the more magical for it. This collection includes Tiger in a Tropical Storm, The Sleeping Gypsy and his exotic landscapes, alongside quieter views of the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and the parks of Paris.

Rousseau's layered greens are made for a tropical-themed or plantation-style home and look wonderful among real plants. A jungle scene brings life to a living room or a children's room; his Paris views suit a study or hallway.

Every print is a fine art giclée print on 230gsm ultra matte paper with archival inks, or a 260gsm poly-cotton canvas, mounted or as a canvas print only, in sizes from A4 to A0. Frame it in black, white, Light Oak Look or Dark Kiaat Look. Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa.
