Where wildlife photography feels at home

A great wildlife photograph brings a living presence into a room. It suits the safari-inspired home most naturally, among linen, leather, timber and woven baskets, and the bush-lodge look of a farmhouse or game-farm retreat. Elephants and lions hang beautifully above a long server or a deep sofa, where they can be seen from across the room.

Wildlife works just as well in a contemporary or monochrome space. A black-and-white tiger or a lone wolf against snow gives a modern room drama and depth, a pod of dolphins belongs in a coastal home, and wild horses bring energy to a hallway or study. Wherever you want a room to feel alive and connected to the natural world, an animal on the wall is one of the simplest places to begin.

Made to be grouped

Photographs from one collection sit naturally together: three foxes in a row along a passage, a pair of elephants either side of a doorway, or a grid of owls in a study. Keep one frame colour throughout and the group reads as a single piece. Let the image decide the size: a wide herd or pod belongs large above long furniture, while a close portrait is happier on a narrow wall.

Framing wildlife photography

Every photograph is a fine art giclée print on 230gsm ultra matte paper with archival inks, or a 260gsm poly-cotton canvas, mounted or as a canvas print only, in sizes from A4 to A0 (square images from 30 to 100cm).
