Contemporary Bird Wall Art Prints

Birds drawn in a modern, illustrative hand: a white egret and a heron standing in still, misty water, a gathering of pink flamingos, red cranes and flying ducks set out as repeating patterns, seagulls wheeling over a cyclist, a puffin among daisies and a blue jay on a branch. Where our vintage songbirds and vintage coastal birds are studies from another century, these are bold, graphic and current.

The collection pulls two ways. The wading birds are quiet and atmospheric, white feathers against smoky blues and browns, and bring a calm, reflective mood to a room. The pattern and colour pieces are brighter and more playful, in coral, crimson, turquoise and sunny yellow, and lift a space with a little wit.

How to hang them

The egret and heron are made to hang as a pair, side by side above a sideboard or either side of a doorway. Pattern prints such as the cranes and ducks work well in a row of three down a passage, while a single flamingo or parrot print can hold a smaller wall on its own.

Each art print in this collection is available as a fine art Giclée print on premium 230gsm ultra-matte paper using archival inks, or as a mounted canvas: imported 260gsm poly-cotton stretched over a 35mm Obeche timber frame. Sizes run from A4 through to A0, unframed or framed in black, white, light oak or dark kiaat.
