    Shades of Blue Abstract Wall Art Prints

    Navy, sapphire, aqua, indigo and pale sky in abstract form. Petra Meikle de Vlas leads the collection with her fluid, ocean-coloured pours: Aqua Aurora 1 to 3, Sapphire Depths, Midnight Reef and Prussian Obsession. Beside them sit Dorothy Fagan's New Pathway No2 and Resting On A Winter Pond, the Blue Matisse Mid-Century Modern figure, Boho Blue Balancing and Boho Blue Growth and Swiss View.

    Our site-wide blue wall art takes in vintage plates and photography as well; this edit keeps to abstraction. The palette moves from deep, stormy navy to washed-out seaside blues, often broken with gold or white, so the colour feels like water.

    How to hang them

    Blue is calm at any size. Hang Indigo 1 and 2, Mist Land 1 and 2 or Modern 1 and 2 as a pair above a sofa or a sideboard, or the three Aqua Aurora prints in a row along a dining wall. One large Petra Meikle de Vlas pour works alone in a study or a coastal living room. For a cooler, leafier pairing, add one from our green abstract prints.

    Each art print in this collection is available as a fine art Giclée print on premium 230gsm ultra-matte paper using archival inks, or as a mounted canvas — a premium imported 260gsm poly-cotton blend stretched over a 35mm Obeche timber frame. Sizes run A4 through to A0, unframed or framed in black, white, Light Oak Look or Dark Kiaat Look, and delivery is free anywhere in South Africa.
