Green is the easiest colour to live with. The softer sages and olives settle a room and sit happily beside oak, linen and stone, while the deeper emeralds and forest tones add weight and a little drama. Touches of gold, blush and charcoal in many of the pieces keep the colour from feeling flat.

How to hang them
