John James Audubon prints from The Birds of America

John James Audubon set out to paint every bird in North America, life-size, and published the results between 1827 and 1838 as The Birds of America, engraved and hand-coloured on the largest sheets a printer could handle. This collection brings together plates from it: the pink flamingo, great blue heron, roseate spoonbill and brown pelican, with warblers, jays, hawks and terns.

Audubon's great plates need room. Hang one large above a long server or console; group the smaller songbirds in a row along a passage. They suit eclectic, traditional and coastal homes alike, and you'll find them sorted by kind of bird in our vintage bird print collections.

Every print is a fine art giclée print on 230gsm ultra matte paper with archival inks, or a 260gsm poly-cotton canvas, mounted or as a canvas print only, in sizes from A4 to A0. Frame it in black, white, Light Oak Look or Dark Kiaat Look. Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa.
