Brazilian Palms No. 12 Art Print
Brazilian Palms No. 12 sets three palms of the South American forest in a small hand-coloured landscape: tall trunks, fanned and feathered crowns in soft greens, with tiny figures and the land beneath them for scale. The names, Geonoma and Iriartea, are lettered in fine type underneath.
The plate shows Geonoma, small understorey palms of the rainforest floor; Iriartea, stilt-rooted palms that stand on a cone of roots. It is a botanical record with the calm of a landscape, which is what makes it hang so easily.
It suits a white wall with wicker, rattan and pale timber: above a console, a drinks trolley or a campaign chest, in a hall or a garden room. Group several from our vintage palm collection for a run along a passage or a verandah. Dark timber or light oak frames with a wide white mount suit the pale paper best.
Available as a Giclée fine art print on 230gsm ultra-matte paper with archival inks, or on our premium imported 260gsm poly-cotton canvas.
