Orchid – Cattleya labiata Art Print
Cattleya labiata is a magenta orchid, shown as a single botanical study on a soft linen ground with the plant's name lettered beneath. Leaves, stems and blooms are drawn in fine detail, so the print reads as a portrait of the whole plant rather than a cut flower.
Orchids have long been the collector's flower: rare, sculptural and quietly luxurious. A framed orchid print brings that same sense of occasion to a wall, and it lasts far longer than the plant on the windowsill.
Hang it on its own as a statement above a desk, console or chest of drawers, or group several from our vintage orchid collection as a finishing touch along a hallway, landing or stairwell. Let the room take its cue from the flower: pick up the magenta in a cushion, a throw or a lampshade, and let the greens settle in with linen, old timber and brass.
