This white Bamileke stool takes its form from the carved stools of Cameroon's grasslands: a lattice drum of interlocking diamonds between a round top and base, finished in soft matte white. At 60 cm across it becomes a low round table: set it between a pair of cane armchairs, in front of a veranda daybed, or beside a deep sofa with a jug of flowers and a stack of books on top. The textured lattice holds its own among linen, rattan and seagrass, and it pairs naturally with our neutral abstract prints.
