White Bone Lattice Box, Large

This large box is covered entirely in white bone, laid in a woven lattice so the lid reads like basketwork in ivory. With no colour to compete, the texture does the work: raking light picks out every weave. It sits well on a pale oak console, a bedside table or a dressing table, beside a matte stoneware vase and a stack of linen-bound books, and it keeps jewellery, letters or chargers out of sight. Pair it with the fine, unhurried lines of our line art prints.
